No injuries in Schuylkill crash

No one was injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 12:10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 2, along SR61 in Port Clinton, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Candice E. Douglas, 19, of Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 2000 Plymouth Neon northbound in the right lane when the vehicle went off the road. Douglas lost control and the car traveled about 171 feet along the berm before striking a rock embankment. After impact the car traveled along the embankment for about 47 feet before coming to rest.

Douglas had three passengers, all juveniles age 15 and two age three.
