Man cited for Tamaqua incident

A man who lists addresses in Tamaqua, Coaldale and Summit Hill has been cited by Tamaqua police after causing a disturbance at the Turkey Hill Minit Mart, 330 E. Broad St.

Officers were dispatched to the convenience store at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5, and found Robert Farber in the parking lot. He admitted to yelling at several patrons.

Farber appeared to be highly intoxicated and was taken in to custody.

He was cited for public drunkenness.
