Schuylkill crash

A Schuylkill County driver was injured in a one- vehicle crash that occurred about 6:05 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, along W. Main St. (SR209), in Tremont.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Marilyn J. Yeagley, 33, of Tower City, was southbound in a Subaru Impreza when the vehicle crossed over the fog line onto the shoulder. It continued along the shoulder hitting shrubbery on an embankment and then a utility pole. After impact with the pole the vehicle spun clockwise into the southbound lane where it rolled over onto its roof and came to rest.

Yeagley was slightly injured and transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian St., Pottsville, for treatment. She was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
