Carbon crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 1 along SR534, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Reuben H. Allen, 18, of Albrightsville, was driving a 1991 Chevrolet Beretta eastbound when he lost control while negotiating a left-hand curve. The car traveled onto the south side and struck a tree along the berm.

Allen and passenger, Mustafa A. Clark, 17, also of Albrightsville, were not injured.
