Hit and run driver sought in Carbon

State police at Lehighton are looking for a hit and run driver involved in an incident in Carbon County.

Troopers said a 2009 Honda Civic was parked in a lot at the Beltzville Bar & Grill, located in Towamensing Township, about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8, when the rear bumper was struck multiple times by another vehicle whose driver then fled the scene northbound on Beltzville Drive.

The hit and run car is believed to be a Dodge Neon, red in color, with unknown damage to the rear.
