Uniforms available
Lightly used Tamaqua Area School District uniforms will be made available to students in need this Friday. Uniforms will be at the Tamaqua Area Senior High School office between the hours of 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. These uniforms are for students who are currently enrolled in the district and include a variety of sizes.

Recovery help
"Celebrate Recovery" sessions are held every Friday, 7-9 p.m., at New Life Assembly of God Church, 407 Schuylkill Ave. Anyone who needs help recovering is welcome to attend.

Calvary UM
Calvary Evangelical United Methodist Church continues holding its services and events at the Lewistown Valley Tabernacle, 614 Valley Rd., through the Labor Day weekend. The Rev. Brian Reading will officiate at this Sunday's 10:25 a.m. worship service. Sunday school classes meet at 9:15 a.m. An evening service will be held at 6 p.m.
The annual Lewistown Valley Camp meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Aug. 27. Additional service times will be: Aug. 28, 7 p.m.; Aug. 30 through Sept. 4, 7 p.m.; Sept. 5, Sunday school at 9:15 a.m., morning service at 10:30 a.m., Wehry Family performances at 2:30 and 6 p.m.; Sept. 6, 10:30 a.m., musical ministry with Larry More at 2:30 and 6 p.m.
St. Peter's Union
The Rev. Rodney Wells will officiate at the 9 a.m. worship service this Sunday in St. Peter's Union Church, Mantzville. The service will include installation of Sunday school teachers and officers. Sunday school classes meet at 10:15 a.m.
Activities for next week will include: Thursday, prayer group meets at 5 p.m., Worship and Music Committee meeting at 6 p.m.
Choir rehearsals are held on Thursdays. Next week's schedule will include: Cherubs at 6:30 p.m.; Junior Choir at 7 p.m.; and Senior Choir at 7:45 p.m.
