Juvenile 'vampire' cited in Tamaqua

A 13-year-old Tamaqua male has been cited after reportedly biting two juvenile girls on their necks.

Officers received a report about the incident at 9:35 p.m. on Aug. 17, when one of the girls' mothers called to complain about the biting incident. After interviewing the girls, ages 11 and 15, officers were able to identify the male, who told officers the girls had asked to be bitten.

The boy was cited for harassment.
