New Ringgold man cited in Tamaqua
A New Ringgold man has been cited by Tamaqua police after an incident at Pieracini's Market, 107 Hunter St.
According to police a man walked into the market and deli Tuesday evening and ordered a party pizza. While he waited for the order he opened a bag of chips and consumed the contents. When the pizza arrived, he picked it up, then refused to pay for it because he had been made to wait so long.
A witness was able to provide officers with a registration number for the vehicle the suspect was driving. The registration came back to Richard Lowell Lehr Jr., of 293 Blue Mountain Drive. Officers were unable to locate Lehr at his home or place of business, R&L Construction on West Penn Pike, Tamaqua R.D.
Witnesses positively identified Lehr from a copy of his driver's license photo.
He was cited for theft of services.
