Theft of handgun being probed

The theft of a handgun is being investigated in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven someone removed a Ruger Super Red Hawk stainless steel 44 magnum revolver from 134 Briar City Rd., Norwegian Township. The theft occurred sometime between Aug. 18 and Wednesday, Aug. 25.

The listed victim is Stan W. Pleva, 41, of Minersville. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
