Carbon resident victim of ID theft
A Carbon County resident is the victim of identity theft.
State police at Lehighton said John Cassella, 62, of 25 Cottonwood Drive, Penn Forest Township, Jim Thorpe, reported that unknown criminals obtained phone service from AT&T using his name and personal information to run up a bill of $402.74. The incident occurred during the time frame of June 1-24, troopers said.
