Schuylkill teen facing charges

A Schuylkill County teen is facing several charges including burglary.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Jeffrey Leinheiser, 19, of New Philadelphia, has been charged with burglary in connection with the break-in of two RV trailers at the Christmas Pines Campground, located along Red Church Rd., in West Brunswick Township.

Troopers said Leinheiser was camping at the site when the incidents occurred. While questioning him about the break-ins troopers found a marijuana cigarettte, rolling papers and a glass pipe containing marijuana residue on him.

In addition to the burglary charge Leinheiser is also facing charges of theft, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Troopers said Leinheiser was on probation and was taken into custody by members of the Schuylkill County Adult Probation office and placed in the county prison in Pottsville for a probation violation.
