September 16, 1972 Panther Valley quarterback Gary Evans carries 15 times for 112 yards and a touchdown to help his team post a 28-14 victory over Palmerton. Evans, who scores on a seven-yard run, also tosses a two-yard TD pass to John Vignone. The Panthers, coached by Rich Davidyock, also receive a four-yard scoring run from Jack Sweeney and a one-yard TD plunge from Jan Vinsko.
