Cited for smoking at borough park

Lehighton borough police have issued a citation to Robert H. Bunch, 26, of 1355 Greenwood St., Palmerton, for smoking on borough property at South Seventh and Iron streets.

The site is the Community Grove, where smoking is prohibited via a borough ordinance.

The incident happened at 7 p.m. on Sept. 8.

Police also cited a 16-year-old male from Palmerton for disorderly conduct on Sept. 8 at 10:55 p.m. for an incident in the vicinity of Bankway and E. Bridge St.
