September 24, 1943 Lansford outgains Pottsville 432 yards to 69 to cruise to an easy victory. Jack Chuckran and Bernie Sniscak both score a pair of touchdowns as the Panthers post a 32-0 win. Chuckran reaches the end zone on runs of 32 and 17 yards while Sniscak hits paydirt on a 15-yard run and a TD pass from Chuckran. The winners, coached by Tony Denby, also receive a one-yard scoring run from Andy Lukac.
