Schuylkill break-in

State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Schuylkill County residence in which a large amount of cash was taken.

Troopers said the home of Justin Deane, 21, of 418 E. Main St., Girardville, was entered sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24. Entry was gained through a basement window.

Removed from the home was a Sentry brand safe, black in color, which contained about $4,500 in cash.
