Monroe resident charged with theft
A Monroe County resident has been charged with retail theft.
State police at Fern Ridge said Rashida Smith, of Kunkletown, was cited at the Weis Market in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. According to troopers Smith allegedly removed $77.10 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it.
The incident occurred about 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1.
