Would-be robbers confronted

Two would-be robbers were confronted by a Schuylkill County homeowner in the act early today.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said two males entered the home of Kim Chyat, 47, of 501 Long Run Drive, in Wayne Township, about 2 a.m. through a rear entrance door. Chyat heard the two and yelled at them to leave. The two were in the residence for a few minutes and left without taking anything. No one was injured in the incident, troopers said.

The two were described as wearing black clothes with hoods over their heads and both wearing black bandannas over their faces.
