Meet Your Friends Night

Pleasant Valley Intermediate School's 5th grade will be hosting a MYFN from 3:45-6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15 in the school's cafeteria.

Pick up children promptly at 6 p.m.

Cultural Diversity Committee

Pleasant Valley School District hosts a monthly meeting of educators, parents, students, and community members to discuss and plan for programs and activities to promote a knowledge and acceptance of diversity.

Parents are encouraged to become part of this committee, which meets the third Tuesday of each month during school hours at the district office.

The next meeting is Oct. 19 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the district office.

PTO meetings

The monthly Pleasant Valley Intermediate PTO meeting will be at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 20 in the school's all-purpose room.

Pleasant Valley Elementary School PTO will meet in the all-purpose room on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 4 p.m.

Trick or Treat

Polk Township has announced that Trick or Treat will be on Sunday, Oct. 31 from 5-8 p.m.

If you plan to hand out a treat to the kids, leave your front porch light on.
