Monroe business cited by PLCB

A Monroe County business has been cited by the state liquor control board's Wilkes-Barre enforcement office.

Copa Bar & Grill Ltd., 16 Fork St., Mt. Pocono, was cited for failing to comply with the order of the administrative law judge mandating responsible alcohol management training on July 28 through Aug. 31.

This charge will be brought before the administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
