Man loses part of nose in fight

A Schuylkill County man had a large portion of his nose severed during a fight at a tavern. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred at Corky's Fourth Street Station, in Tower City.

Troopers said about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, Steven Worhacz Jr., 31, of Williasmtown, and Robert Thomas O'Brien II, 41, of Tower City, became involved in a physical argument. During the course of the argument O'Brien bit the nose of Worchacz severing a large portion of it.

O'Brien was placed under arrest for aggravated assault and related counts and was arraigned before duty District Judge James Reilly, of Pottsville. O'Brien was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
