Monroe teen jailed

A Monroe County teen has been jailed on multiple criminal charges.

On Oct. 15 about 7 a.m. officers of Pocono Mountain Regional and Pocono Township police served a search warrant at 5472 Sullivan Trail, Pocono Summit, for a stolen four wheel all terrain vehicle (ATV). While executing the warrant police also found a stolen motorcycle.

Arrested at the scene was Jakub Sztandera, 18, of that address. He was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Sztandera was arraigned before Districtd Judge Richard S. Claypool, of Pocono Pines, and remanded to the county prison in Snydersville after failing to post bail, police added.
