A simple plan

Dear Editor:

Have you ever been harassed by a government agency? Do you scratch your head and work yourself into a frenzy every year during tax season? Has the EPA come to your home and dictated to you what you can and can't do with your property? Have big government mandate's like "No Child Left Behind" caused your property taxes to rise making your household budget tighter? Do you know the government has no authority in the constitution for any of these totalitarian practices? Do you realize we've been forced into slavery and compliance over the years and silently accepted it? With unfunded liabilities like Social Security and Medicare each man, woman and child in the United States is 400k in debt. Do you feel as voiceless as I do after calling your representative to vote NO on the Bailout Bill only to have your "representative," and I use that term loosely, vote YES on bailing out the cronies on Wall Street even though 200 people to 1 opposed it? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you may say well, there is nothing I can do about it. Well, you're wrong.

First off, it all depends on what kind of man or woman you are and if you've grown out of the take care of me, me me me stage. If you are the type of person who is afraid and just goes along to get along stop right here. But if you have a backbone and care about what kind of world we are leaving to our posterity then continue on.

We are organizing a Carbon County Citizen's Sheriff Brigade. The county sheriff is the most powerful office in the county (just don't ask our current sheriff to stump for this) no matter what today's bureaucrats try to tell us. Similar brigades are forming throughout the state of Pennsylvania and across the country. I just attended a meeting at Penn State on October 7th with elected law enforcement officials and concerned citizens from throughout the state who realize it is our job to take our country back.

This is a non-violent, lawful movement to take a stand for our freedom, prosperity and God given rights. We the People will be organizing with the sheriff's department and will stand together in a non-violent and peaceful way against any tyrannical agencies that try to deprive us of our freedoms. This is not politically motivated as I can say with one hundred percent confidence that maybe one percent of our elected leaders, both republican and democrat, understand how our constitutional republic is supposed to operate. As a matter of fact, I have yet to meet one politician in Carbon County who has read both the United States and Pennsylvania state constitutions and who completely understands them, yet they've all taken an oath to uphold and defend them.

How can they uphold and defend the constitutions if they don't even know what they say? The constitution is their job description and if you went into work and didn't perform the duties of the job you would be fired. Today's public officials take the liberty of doing whatever they want which leads to them ruling over the people instead of serving the people. And who do you think is going to stop them if we don't? The corporations? The media? As a matter of fact, it's our apathy that has led to this problem to begin with.

We will have an inaugural meeting of the brigade on Saturday November 20th at 11 a.m. at the Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall. This will be an educational meeting to bring everybody up to speed on what is happening. We also will have a very exciting announcement to make regarding a candidate for sheriff who actually understands the duties of the sheriff's office (to protect the citizen's rights) and who has the internal fortitude to actually do it, unlike our current sheriff. Let's take back our country.
