Schuylkill driver victim of hit/run

A Schuylkill County driver was the victim of a hit and run incident in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Joseph J. Serano, 56, of Middleport, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on SR309 in Lynn Township, about 6:12 a.m. on Oct. 13. A northbound car, in the left turn lane, suddenly swerved into Serano's lane. The other vehicle impacted with the driver side of the Silverado. After impact the other driver fled northbound. Serano was not injured.

Damages were minor to the driver side front quarter panel, mirror and rear quarter panel. The hit and run vehicle was only described as being a black in color passenger vehicle.
