Support group

The Hazleton Fibromyalgia Support Group will meet at 6 p.m., Wednesday at Faith United Church of Christ, located off the Airport Beltway behind Independence Toyota, Hazleton.

Guest speaker will be pharmacist Bill Spear of Hazle Drug who will discuss leaky gut syndrome, intestinal permeability test, lactic acid buildup in muscles and how eating sugar can cause pain.

The group meets the first Wednesday of each month (no meetings in January or February) and is open to anyone with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome or similar chronic illness. Friends and relatives are also welcome!
