Revoke probation

Judge Stine revoked the probation of Rachelle Lynn Cassidy, 24, Kulpmont, and re-sentenced her on a charge of theft from Walmart Store, Hometown, to serve three to 12 months in the county prison with credit for having served 60 days. On a second charge of theft she must serve an additiional 12 months on probation and undergo a drug an alcohol evaluation.

Steven Michale Whitman, 21, Minersville, had his probation revoked by Judge Stine and he was re-sentenced on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia to serve four to 12 months in the county prison with credit for spending 28 days in jail. He also must undergo drug and alcohol evaluation. Whitman pleaded guilty last August and was put on probation 12 months.
