November 4, 1944 Andy Lukac and "Dubby" Derby both score a pair of touchdowns to lead Lansford to a 26-6 victory over Tamaqua. The win, which comes before a crowd of 6,000, is the Panthers' 21st in a row. Lukac opens the scoring by capping a 74-yard drive with a three-yard TD run. A 25-yard pass from Derby to Bill Perbetsky sets up Derby's one-yard scoring plunge. Lukac adds another three-yard TD run while Derby breaks free for a 39-yard tally.
