Time to start gambling with our picks

The last week of the regular season.
What does it mean?
There's some rivalry games this weekend and these are the type that you can throw out the records. It's anyone's game in other words.
A win for a team with a losing record could make its season. In some cases, it could mean a playoff berth or even an undefeated regular season as is the case at Northern Lehigh tonight when the Bulldogs host Palmerton.
It's also time for some of us that sit on the bottom half of the standings to gamble on our picks a little bit.
With that in mind, let's take a look at my Week 10 selections:
LEHIGHTON AT JIM THORPE - On paper, you might say that the Olympians should get the win here. The Indians have played some of their best football the last two weeks and I think it just might continue ... Lehighton, 21-20.
TAMAQUA AT MARIAN - This has to be one season that the Colt fans must want to see come to an end as soon as it can ... Tamaqua, 28-7.
PANTHER VALLEY AT MINERSVILLE - Panthers have hit the wall a bit since the win over Marian that made their season ... Minersville, 27-6.
PLEASANT VALLEY AT STROUDSBURG - An outstanding coaching career is coming to an end for Fred Ross, while young Jim Terwilliger likes the start of his ... Pleasant Valley, 28-0.
PALMERTON A NORTHERN LEHIGH - If Blue Bombers could put four quarters together, this could be close, but no one has stopped Cody Remaley and the Bulldogs yet ... Northern Lehigh, 35-12.
CATASAUQUA AT NORTHWESTERN - The Tigers still have eyes on an Eastern Conference berth and the Roughies will have a hard time putting last week's loss to Northern Lehigh out of their heads ... Northwestern, 21-7.
PALISADES AT SAUCON VALLEY - Let's just flip the coin here as two of the Colonial League bottom tier teams meet ... Saucon Valley, 21-14.
BANGOR AT PEN ARGYL - This one will be a war up on the hill. Most will side with the Green Knights, but we like the Slaters in this one ... Bangor, 14-13.
POCONO MOUNTAIN EAST AT POCONO MOUNTAIN WEST - The Cardinals seem to hold a bit of an edge over the Panthers ... Pocono Mt. East, 28-21.
SHENANDOAH VALLEY AT MAHANOY AREA - Golden Bears started the season out with some big wins, but things have gone south a bit lately ... Shenandoah Valley, 28-14.
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN AT STEEL-HIGH - Look for the Rollers to hand the Hurricanes a setback here ... Steel High, 18-14.
PARKLAND AT WHITEHALL - Give the nod to the Zephyrs here with the home field advantage ... Whitehall, 14-7.
LIBERTY AT FREEDOM - Patriots handed Becahi a loss last week. This week, the Hurricanes return the favor ... Liberty, 21-7.
ALLEN AT DIERUFF - Never thought I'd pick a Canary over a Huskie, but here it goes ... Allen, 32-20.
WILLIAMSPORT AT WYOMING VALLEY WEST - The crystal ball lends a hand on this one so the pick is ... Wyoming Valley West, 32-28.
