Police issue warning

State police at the Hazleton barracks have issued a warning for residents of the Packer Township area of Carbon County.

Troopers said there has been an increase of daytime burglaries in the area. Troopers said residents are asked to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity.

If suspicious activity is observed, such as individuals or vehicles, residents should call troopers at (866) 731-3135.
