Schuylkill driver facing DUI count
A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a crash that occurred about 12:10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Luke Reber, 22, of Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 2001 Nissan Sentra along Main St., in Landingville, when he failed to negotiate a left curve. The car left the road and struck a wooden fence on the proeprty at 110 Main St., and owned by Shelly Trumbo.
Reber attempted to flee the scene before his vehicle became disabled. Reber weas found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.
The DUI count is pending, troopers said.
