America in distress

Dear Editor:

As a fresh crop of politicians who will vote for more war, more debt and more loss of freedom prepare to take their oath to protect and defend a constitution they most likely never read let alone understand (much like the bills they will soon vote on) our country will continue its slide into conformity with what is widely known today as the New World Order. It is my suggestion that those with an American flag fly it upside down as a distress signal to your fellow country men. It is plain for me and others in the freedom movement to see that America is taking her final dying breaths.

One does not have to travel to Copenhagen or Ontario, Canada to see the New World Order's global blue print for the enslavement of humanity in action. Since recently returning home from a 10 year stint in Los Angeles where I was very active in the freedom movement, a few local examples will help show that tyranny is also alive and well here in Carbon County.

When asking the Jim Thorpe School Board Members what form of government the United States is I was told that I was not allowed to ask board members questions. When also asking them if the Jim Thorpe School Board is above the law and while citing examples of violations of their oaths of office I was given the gavel and denied the opportunity to speak and to submit a copy of these infractions.

In a recent article in the Standard Speaker our current sheriff called Oath Keepers, which is an organization made up law enforcement, military members and politicians who take their oath "to protect and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC" quite literally, a "radical group no one takes seriously." He also went on to say that they follow their interpretation of the constitution.

This is the language of tyrants and it must run in the family because at a commissioners meeting we were also told the constitution has a lot of grey areas while no specific examples could be given. This is how our rights and prosperity get perverted in the first place. One tyrant will say the constitution is a little "unclear" here so we are going to slip this in. And another oath breaker will say oh yeah, the constitution could mean this so we are going to slip that in. Of course they're all lying but before you know it, a once free and prosperous country is on the verge of a financial meltdown and a complete loss of freedom. Sound familiar?

And finally the mayor of Jim Thorpe is pushing for a skateboard ordinance that will make riding a skateboard in public punishable by fine. Have we lost our minds? Good lord. Please read this quote carefully by Thomas Jefferson "I know no safe depositary of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power." This is what our citizen brigade movement is all about. The brigade will be a check and balance for all forms of government abuse. Please attend our inaugural meeting on Saturday, November 20th at 11 a.m. at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall to learn more. The brigade will only be as successful as you make it. The more enlightened We the People are and the more we work together, the greater our chances of repairing our country are.
