November 17, 1967 Jim Thorpe will again have a wrestling team as Angelo "Angie" Konstas accepts the job of head wrestling coach. Earlier the JT school board had announced the sport would have to be dropped because there was no one to coach the sport. Konstas, also the school's football mentor, took the wrestling job despite never having coached the sport.
