Palmerton announces coaching appointments

The Palmerton Area School Board approved several extracurricular and cocurricular positions per the negotiated contract for the 2010-11 school year:

Brett Martinez, assistant wrestling coach, $3,788

Donald Delich, assistant baseball coach, $2,498

Ryan Sharkazy, co-assistant baseball coach, $1,249

Matt Krempasky, co-assistant baseball coach, $1,249

Jaclyn Ivancich, assistant volunteer girls basketball coach, volunteer

Dominick Fantasia, assistant volunteer girls soccer coach, volunteer.

The board also approved the resignation of Mike Englert as assistant wrestling coach, effective Oct. 16, 2010.

The board also removed Robert Pipech as assistant boys soccer coach, effective retroactively Aug. 16, 2010.
