Home burglarized in Mahoning Twp.

A residential burglary occurred on Sunday, Nov. 14, between 10:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. at a residence in the 2100 block of Blakeslee Boulevard Drive West, report Mahoning Township police.

Chief of Police Kenneth Barnes said forced entry into the home was made by prying open a back window at the home. The individual(s) then ransacked the living room and a bedroom.

Taken during the burglary was an undetermined amount of jewelry, a .45 caliber pistol in a holster, a 12 gauge single shot shotgun and a 308 rifle.

Barnes said anyone witnessing or having information on the vent is urged to call Mahoning Township Police at (570) 386-2241.
