Four injured in Penn Forest crash

Four persons were injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 1:27 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, along SR903, near Wargo Road., in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said Tamika J. Henderson, 33, of Albrightsville, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Tracker westbound when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of the vehicle. The Tracker went onto the berm and impacted head-on with a tree.

Henderson and passengers Tyara Wright-Slater, 13, Maili Henderson, 10, and Shannon Murphy, 14, all of Albrightsville, were injured and transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Henderson was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
