Gradwell sees plenty of action for Quinnipiac

Ashley Gradwell, a junior midfielder for the Quinnipiac University field hockey team, played in 17 of her team's 18 games this year and started 15.

Gradwell, a Northwestern High School graduate, was seventh on the team in minutes played (982). It was her most active season. She played in one game as a freshman and 14 as a sophomore, starting nine games. As a sophomore she was named her team's most improved player.
