Driver cited after Monroe crash

A driver was cited following a crash that occurred about 11:51 p.m. on Nov. 18 along Mountain View Drive in Polk Township, Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton said Cierra E. Hoagland, 20, of Kunkletown, was driving a 1999 Ford Escort westbound when she drove onto the south berm and struck a tree.

Hoagland and passengers Kristin A. Buskirk, 18, of Kunkletown, Lauren K. Mullikan, 18, and Joseph W. Christman, 20, both of Saylorsburg, were all not injured.

Troopers cited Hoagland for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
