Monroe crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 6:54 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, along SR115 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Miguel O. Betancourt, 19, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2002 Jeep southbound when he fell asleep. The vehicle left the road and crashed into a utility pole.

Betancourt was not injured. He was cited for careless driving, troopers said.
