Break-ins probed by Kidder police

Kidder Township police are investigating four burglaries that occurred recently.

On Nov. 29 about 10:30 a.m. a resident reported finding a silver sports utility vehicle with a temporay tag in the rear window, parked in the driveway. Upon entering the home the resident was confronted at gunpoint by a white male, in his 20s, about five-feet, eight or 10 inches wall, who ordered her to the floor before he fled. He was accompanied by a white female and both were wearing gray hoodies.

Later during the day burglaries were reported at homes along SR940 and SR534 with miscellaneous household items and two handguns taken. Entry was gained in each through a side window, police said.

Also, on Nov. 24 a residence along SR940 was entered and removed was a widescreen television and electronic games.
