Schuylkill crash

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, along Green Mountain Road in East Union Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Laurie Robinson, 33, no address given, was operating a 2004 Suzuki X7 westbound when she said she dropped a cigarette. The vehicle traveled onto the north berm and struck a fire hydrant where it came to rest.

Damages were moderate to the vehicle. She was cited for careless driving, troopers said.
