Summit Hill driver facing DUI charge

A Summit Hill man was charged with driving under the influence (DUI).

According to Summit Hill police, on Nov. 1, at 6:35 p.m., officers received a report from a citizen that a vehicle was being driven erratically on the wrong side of the road and was also driving off the road. The caller also gave a description of the vehicle and driver as well as the license plate number of the vehicle.

Police investigated the call and learned that the driver was Harry Connor, 45, of 15 E. Fell St. They spoke to Connor and an investigation revealed that he was intoxicated.

He was taken for a blood test, which he refused.

He was charged with DUI, limitations on driving on the left side of roadway, driving on right side of roadway and careless driving.
