Break-in, theft incident probed

State police at Frackville reported investigating a burglary and theft of a vehicle incident in Schuylkill County.

The break-in occurred at the Auto Diesel & Electric business located at 1 Starter Drive, in the Frackville Industrial Park, West Mahanoy Township.

Entry was gained by breaking a rear window located on the east side. Once inside the criminals forced open a soda machine and removed the money inside and also took cash from a cash register. They also removed several items from within the building. The business is owned by David Ferraiolo, of Ashland. The incident occurred sometime between midnight and 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Troopers said the 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager of Maria Gold, 33, of 40 S. Lincoln St., McAdoo, was stolen from in front of her residence sometime between 8:30 and 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12.

The vehicle has state registration plate GGP1627.
