Son and father fight on Christmas eve

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said a son and father, both from Port Clinton, were imprisoned after a fight they had on Christmas Eve at the father's home in Port Clinton.

As a result of the melee, Codey Himmelberger, 22, and Bradley Himmelberger, 41, were committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville.

Police said the two men became involved in a verbal argument that became physical at the father's residence. The son left the premises and was followed by his father to his vehicle, at which time the son puller a semi-automatic handgun that is registered to him, pointed it at his father and threatened him.

Police said the two were arrested without further incident and were arraigned before District Justice Anthony Kilker.

The son is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment. His bail was set at $25,000.

The father is charged with simple assault and harassment. His bail was set at $15,000.
