DUI charge filed against driver

State police at the Fogelsville barracks report Jason E. Snook, 34, of Macungie, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol as a result of an accident they investigated on Dec. 17 at 7:19 p.m. on Route 39018 in Upper Milford Township0.

Police said he was driving a 1997 Jeep Cherokee too fast for conditions when the vehicle crashed, causing him to sustain minor injuries.

The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.

Snook was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
