Domestic assault incident probed

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported investigating a domestic assault incident that resulted in the arrest of a Monroe County man.

Police said about 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, officers were dispatched to 7319 Meadowlark Drive, A Pocono Country Place, Tobyhanna, Coolbaugh Township, for a domestic assault. At the scene officers spoke with Sarah Branham, at a neighbor's house. She said during an argument her boyfriend, Joseph Robles, 43, punched her in the face. Police said Branham had a injury to her face.

Robles was taken into custody and transported to the county prison in Snydersville where he was arragined on charges of simple assault and harassment.
