Guilty plea

Lester Fernandez, 31, Mahanoy City, entered a guilty plea to delivery of illegal drugs in Schuylkill County and was sentenced by Judge D. Michael Stine in one of his final action prior to his retirement from the bench Jan. 3 to serve 30 months to 60 months in a state correctional institution, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab and $80 to the Reading State Police Drug Task Force.

Revoke probation

Robert McFarland, 39, Pottsville, had his probation revoked by Judge Jacqueline Russell for failing to notify his probation officer within 48 hours of a new arrest. He was re-sentenced to serve three months to 12 months in the county prison with credit for serving 34 days. He had pleaded guilty last July to a charge of defiant trespass on private property in Pottsville and was placed on probation for 12 months.

Marriage licenses

Shelia J. Wirth, 208 Green Street, Brockton Village, Schuylkill Township and William D. Jones, 118 Pitt Street, Tamaqua.

Stephanie J, Huhn and Jerimiah L. Conley, 601 West Center Street, Mahanoy City.

Bail hearings

Judge D. Michael Stine handed down rulings on bail hearings as follows:

Aaron Conahan, 33, of 106 North Greenwood Street, Tamaqua, petitioned the court for reduction in bail and after a hearing Judge Stine set bail in the sum of $500 percentage cash and ordered Conahan to reside at the Tamaqua address and not relocate without a prior court approval. Conahan faces an alleged recklessly endangering another person charge.

Jalil Donald Ruiz, 25, Easton, had his bail modified to a cumulative sum of $500 percentage cash bail and he was ordered tor reside at 17 Babbling Brook Road in Easton and not relocated without court permission. He faces alleges drug charges in Schuylkill County.

Earl F. Hartranft, 32, of 109 Coal Street, Tamaqua, had his bail modified to $10,000 unsecured bail and ordered to reside at the Tamaqua address. He faces alleged fleeing police charges.

Rafael Antonio Mateo, 21, Shenandoah, had his bail modified to $10,000 unsecured bail and he has to reside at 519 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah and must contact his arresting officer, Trooper Todaro on a weekly basis and must maintain contact with his attorney. He faces alleged drug charges.

Joseph Preziosi, Bath, had his bail modified to $1,000 unsecured bail and he must reside at 104 East Main Street, Bath, Pa., must provide a phone number to the public defender's and district attorney's offices and must maintain contact with his attorney. He faces an alleged charge of giving a false identification to police.

Eddie Harrison, 30, Ashland, had his bail modified to $5,000 percentage cash, must reside at 739 Walnut Street, Ashland; not consume, possess, or transport any alcohol or durgs unless prescribed by a medical professional, must seek gainful employment and not not be involved in any violent or cirminal activity at the bail location. He faces alleged assault charges.

Robert Paul Rothermel, 20, Pottsville, had his bail modified to $10,000 unsecured bail, must reside at 3 Peacock Street, Pottsville and shall not posses or transport any controlled substance. He faces alleged assault charge.
