Christmas Holiday

Services slated

St. John's Lutheran Church, Sixth and North streets, has announced its Christmas Eve service. The service will begin with special music at 7 p.m. followed by the service of Holy Communion at 7:30. There will also be a service held on Christmas day at 9 a.m. There will be no service on Saturday evening this weekend or the next and there is no Sunday School on Sunday.

St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will hold its Festival Communion Nativity service on Friday evening at 7 p.m. There will be a service of lessons and carols will be held on Sunday, Dec. 26, at 10:30 a.m. There will be no services on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. On Sunday, Jan, 2, at 10:30 a.m. is the Second Sunday of Christmas communion with the Rev. Bill Thompson.
