Underage drinking party raided in Rush

Rush Township Police will be citing multiple people following an underage drinking party held Sunday morning at 72 Lester Lech Lane, Tamaqua. Officers from Rush and Ryan Townships raided the party shortly before 1 a.m. and took a total of 15 people, males and females, all under the age of 21, into custody. The teens were then released into the custody of an adult.

Charges are pending completion of the investigation.
