Spray-paint cases probed in Tremont

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating criminal mischief incidents involving spray-painting damage caused in Tremont.

Police said a car was spray-painted between 5 p.m. Dec. 28 and 5:45 a.m. Dec. 29. The victim, Rachel Lynn Rumph, 29, told police someone sprayed red paint on her yellow 2005 Ford Focus while it was parked at the rear of her residence at 16 S. Ferg St.

In another report, police said numerous victims reported red paint was sprayed on numerous items in the alley behind East Main Street in the borough between 6 and 10 p.m. Dec. 28. That damage included several vehicles, road signs, buildings and doors.
