John Wesley speaks

Effort United Methodist Church in Effort had a special speaker this past Sunday. The church celebrated its Wesleyan heritage and the retired Rev. Stuart Thody of Effort returned, portraying John Wesley. Speaking in the first person and dressed accordingly, Rev. Thody, originally from England, shared some of the events that led to the Methodist church being begun by the Wesleys.
