Wellington brings Radio WOOF to Tamaqua

Folksinger and storyteller Bill Wellington performs his Radio WOOF (World of Folklore) program for students of Tamaqua and Rush Elementary Schools during a Raider Rules Awards Assembly at Tamaqua Elementary on Jan. 21. Wellington, who resides in Staunton, Virginia, played fiddle, banjo and acoustic guitar and entertained the students with stories, folk songs and jokes. Wellington also performed at West Penn Elementary School on Jan. 20 and gave a Family Night concert at the Tamaqua Area Auditorium.
